buy all my supplies from our sponsor(Detailed Image) and having used rotary buffers for years,would not suggest it to a rookie.Looking over DI's site they do have very good prices on the products I use and with their menzerna line of polishes,and other suggested products plus the 10% off I don't think you can miss.Tell them what kind and color you have and follow the instructions and your car will look like a show car
when i do run out I will be ordering from them

tip---follow the application of FMJ with a coat of their best carnauba wax.
and as a rookie get the porter cable it is rookie proof and no worries about it heating up the clear coat.
seems like the link you provided has higher prices,and from what i have read from the sponsors posts,they really give good info.
