how long should i wait to wax a newly painted surface?

i took delivery of my car last week but it had a wide scratch on the bumper (about the size of your fingernail). the dealer fixed it by sanding it down and painting it.

since it has fresh paint on it, how long should i wait before claying and waxing it with zaino (Z-2)?

What did they paint it with??

Sounds like they fixed it with touch up paint, which is a lacquer.

If so, it is going to get as dry as its going to ever get within a couple of days.

Paints vary by brand (when done aftermarket). To get the exact answer, your best bet is to ask the guy who did the work. In the mean time, you can cover it with some glaze if you are that concerned.
