Does anyone have any before/after pics with Zaino?

I am pretty much new the the Zaino thing, and I really want to try it, but I'd love a guide or some before/after pics of this wonder wash.

thanks Scott

well i zainoed my 03 E500, i have 8coats of z-2. i dont have before pics, but i have after, if you want me to post some, just tell me, what color is your car, and kind of car, also, it is a polish more than a wash. (i.e. Z-2) but you need to buy thier wash, you need to know a lot of things before you zaino a car, i would pm alboston, hes the moderator for the detailoing forum, gl

hmmm this is somewhat difficult. If the condition of your paint right now is pretty dull and swirled up, don't expect Zaino to do anything to it. Zaino is really not a "miracle" product, however it is a pretty darn good one. You need a virtually perfect surface to apply Zaino or you will not get good results. Bmms8 applied zaino to his older car and did not get good results because the paint was not properly prepped; however, he applied it to his new E500 and got excellent results because the paint was brand new and did not require any prep. So if you properly clay and buff the paint followed by a dawn wash you will have a perfect smooth squeaky clean surface ready for zaino. Here is a pic.

Thanks guys

I just ordered a 2003 Magma Red C-230Kompressor.

I have not recieved it yet, (week after x-mas) so i was hoping for some tips to prevent or take a step in the right direction, rather than 2 months after saying* man I wish I had known that before* kinda thing.

Thanks for any helpful hints you can offer.

Scott

This is a pic of the car owned by the sole Zaino distributor in Asia Pacific (www.cazcomp.com). The shine on his car is phenominal!

Prepping the car for Zaino is important.

You might want to skip the dealer's exterior prep, because you have to start with the bare clear coat on the red anyway....just follow Zaino's directions.

A clay bar might not be needed, but if you feel anything besides a smooth finish after washing with Dawn to remove wax and any contaminents, then clay it.... any brand will do.

Some people do not like the look of Zaino Z-2 on red, it takes away somewhat from the beauty of red and makes it too reflective. Otherse prefer a carnauba wax, or Klasse topped with carnauba to get the look they are after. This brings out more depth and shimmering gloss. However, this is more along the lines of people that have been detailing for a while, when tastes become more picky.

Zaino has a different look, it's up to you.

I've been pretty happy with my experience with Zaino. It's very smooth and shiny!
