Window washing

I heard that window cleaner strips wax, so I got one of those cheap sponges you see some using to wash dishes with. It has an attached tube that you fill with soap so the sponge is always soapy. I was thinking of using this to apply the window cleaner to the window to prevent the overspray from misting onto the paint and harming my wax.
Whaddyallthink, and do you have any other or better methods?
Thanks,
EDJ
Most of the high end stuff that dosent contain amonia (i.e. -Stoner's Invisible Glass, Eagle One 20/20, and others) won't touch your wax.
I think the dispensing sponge is a little overkill. Just dont worry so much. It would take a lot of glass cleaner to strip one coat of a decent carnauba.
Well, first... what glass cleaner are you using?

. BTW i know eagle 20/20 contains a lot of alcohol, which does strip wax. Spray it on the window and wipe with an MF towel. Getting a little bit on the paint wont hurt the wax.

PS--That little sponge idea sucked. Didn't work at all, put to thin a coat of window cleaner on the window, and then broke off the end of the tube/cleaner holder when I applied pressure to get more window cleaner onto the surface.
