Sorry james but Z6 is basically the only thing that is compatible with the zaino system. You could use another type but it would inhibit future zaino from bonding and may not work very well.

The next time you get some, you can double your supply by adding water. The stuff is so concentrated that it still works at a 50:50 mix.

Thanks Al...I didn't know that you shouldn't use anything else with Zaino. I think I'll get an order for Z6 into Zaino Bros. right away before I run out. Been using a lot getting the basic six coats on the car.:p

Glad to have that over with. Wish I knew of someone in Seattle that would not make a mess of the car...oh well, the work and exercise is probably a good thing in the long run. Just not into good things as a rule.

Disagree partially. There is an autopia thread that has a compiled list of Zaino compatible QDs. It depends what you are using the Z6 for. If you are using Z6 between coats of Zaino, then sticking with Z6 is the best choice anyway. However, for wiping up water spots and cleaning up messes afte washes, another QD can be used. Eagle One Wipe N Shine has nothing in particular that would prevent Zaino from bonding, but it does not help the longevity of the Zaino protection.

Other QD's (but not all) are very much compatible with the Zaino system, but Z6 works the best because it was designed to work with the other products.

100%

so bmms8, do you have a license now (meaning you can drive all by yourself wherever you want to)? congrats.

100%? i failed that stupid driving test 3 times. i finally passed on my 4th try and even that time i scored a 70 (the minimum score to pass).

it was tough because i would fail it because the guy would say that i didn't look back enough when i changed lanes, etc. then the next time i would look back (exaggerated) and he would say that i looked back too much and i could have gotten into an accident, etc. another time i made a left turn (plenty of space with oncoming traffic) but the guy said it was unsafe and failed me. the time i passed, i got docked a bunch of points because the guy said that i waited too long in making a left turn at an intersection.

it was a royal PITA. this was up at the dmv in berkeley, ca.

Rock.

wow, that really sucks, when my bro took it 5 years ago, hardly 10% passed, so i guess they are letting more kids just pass, i mean they are going to do doulbe the work if they dont
