If you could only pick one...?

I have no desire to spend endless hours washing, drying, clay bar-ing, polishing, waxing, etc.... I want to wash, dry, and use ONE other product.

What product would you chose? Why?

Wash/dry/detailing spritz is the usual. About every six months you should wash/dry/polish/sealant. Claying is your call, but probably once a year would be good...but not absolutely critical.

Edit: My personal preference is Meguiar's Gold Class Wash, Dry with Blower, and Wolfgang detailing spritz. I use Wolfgang polish and paint sealant every 3-6 months.

So cleaner or other types of wax aren't really important every couple months? Sealant is more important?

Paint sealants are a synthetic version of wax that lasts much longer. You indicated you wanted to do the least amount of work, so that is the way for you to go. It will bead up water nicely for at least 6 months...probably longer if you use that detailing spritz after every wash also.

Personally, I prefer shorter periods between sealant applications (every 3 months), but that is not what you seem to want.

There are plenty of people that wax/seal every month also.

I would suggest using an AIO (All In One) product that helps polish and protect the paint. It helps remove light oxidation, contaminants, etc. while simultaneously shinning and protecting the paint. They are easy to use and my "go to" product for any one step process. The Klasse All In One and the Poorboy's World Polish w/Sealant would be my two favorite products. Let me know if you need any additional recommendations.

Thanks for the recommendations!

I have a Ryobi 6" Orbital, but the bonnets are just junk. I'm thinking of picking up a new orbital too for a "once every 6 months" polish/sealant job.

Don't forget glass cleaner. DP's Krystal Glass is really good...some people like Invisible Glass.

+1...I have been using the Lucas Instant Detail Spray for about a year now and it works very well...Wolfgang 3.0 with Pinnacle Carnuba on top is the best I've found so far.

I used the Chemical Guys Maxi Suds, and the Klasse AIO today and i'm VERY impressed.

The Maxi Suds loosened grim and grit from a few days rain and road grit quickly and easily. Washing took no time at all. The Klasse AIO might be the single greatest product I've ever used. Application takes no time, and wiping it off is clean and easy. I haven't used the Klasse sealant yet, but I look forward to doing so!

A+ all around!

Be really careful with the Klasse Sealant Glaze in put it on REALLY, REALLY thin. If you put it on too thick it is a really PITA to get off and will streak. My recommendation is to thin it with water about 3:1 and apply it, let is sit overnight, then wipe it off. 2-3 coats will give incredible shine and will be VERY durable.

Oh man that is a really tough one, they are extremely similar. I might have to say this one is a tie. They both have tons of suds, great lubricity and smell pleasant as well. I promise you can't go wrong with either one.

3 water to 1 glaze? Or the other way around?

Yes, 3 water to 1 glaze. It helps to get the glaze on whisper thin.

I had a tough time buffing it offf. I usually wipe the one that does not come off during buffing with a damp towel before I put on another coat. Is it a good way to get those remaining residue off? If not, what would you recommend?
Just to make sure by 3 in 1, do you mean 3 part water mix with 1 part hg?

Like I said before, Klasse Sealant glaze is VERY finicky. It needs to be put on SUPER thin. Since it is really hard to get it that thin and almost everyone uses WAY more of it than needed, the easiest way is to mix 1oz of Sealant glaze with 3-4 oz of water. Then rub it on THIN, spreading it out as much as possible. Then let is sit overnight, then buff it off the next day. Then wait 24 hours and repeat at least 2-3 times. If you follow that recommendation, it will buff off with ease.
