Zaino on Pewter
I worked this afternoon, and by the time I thought about taking pictures, the light was gone. The clouds are moving in. Anyway, I shot a grey card trying to get the white balance correct, and I'm pretty sure it is. I'm pretty sure about exposure, too. Adjusting levels, though, just to slightly boost contrast, still affects the color.
Anyway, these ain't great, but since I went to the trouble to take them, I'm posting anyway. The one with the door open is just to show the charcoal with Pewter and the Birdseye Maple -- I think it all goes well.
Enough gabbin', here's the pics...

did you Z the rub strips that the parktronic sensors sit in,and the side moldings, or just use something like 303 aerospace protectant on the molding/chrome?
i've got a bunch of this stuff waiting for the weather to break - its warm in the garage (50degrees, its all relative) compared to outside, but its so dark I'm afraid even to QD - not sure if I managed to get the surfaces all clean with the car wash, and I think that was what caused my few scratches rather than the cali-duster.

just past the break-in period, and does that E500 like to cruise at ...passing speed
Hang in there; winter will be past soon. I may be in NY this month -- I'll e-mail you if I actually set the trip up.
Yeah, I Z everything! It doesn't even seem to bother glass. I gotta tell you, after that fourth coat...geeze. I mean, geeze! You should see it parked at night - anywhere - in a grocery store parking lot, in the distance, alone, under a light. It glows. I mean, GLOWS!
I've not done the three/three coats like most folks. I did one on a Saturday and one the following Sunday. Then just wash a couple weeks, squeeze in another coat, and so on.
Even tonight, been a week since I've touched it and we've had rain. It just glows! The valet (not the same guy I've known for years) came up to me at the bar and had to tell me how good it looks. It may be mine, and my baby, but I'm so glad I found out about Zaino.
I'm still keeping the Cali Dusters in reserve...
