Liquid Glass
I lived on the coast of central Florida where they have a seasonal problem with "love bugs." These nasty critters are acidic, and can cause pock marks down to the metal if not promptly removed. The only product I found that would stand up to these nasties is Liquid Glass. No palm based product provided any protection.

Liquid Glass is a wonderful OG sealant; However, there are many products out on the market today which outshine it in my opinion.
