liquid vs solid waxes

liquid vs solid waxes

i use liquid wax meguires. is that better or worse than the solid meguires? what is the difference other than physical properties?

someone told me that liquid will not last as long and solid.

I think that is true - typically liquid waxes last maybe three months and solid (paste carnauba) will last maybe six months, but it is harder (pun intended) to apply.

wow the only carnuba wax i have used that lasts longer than a month is Blitz.

I think those numbers are if the car is garaged, not parked out in the sun or rain, no automatic car washes, etc.

E.g. very optimistic.

That said, the Griot's liquid I use does seem to last me around three months. But my C32 rarely sees rain and doesn't sit in the sun.

It might also depend on how much salt spray (Florida) or acid rain (California) you get...
