Woodgrain cleaning

How do you all clean your wood trim in your cars? There are a lot of nooks and crannies in its design. What do you use to clean it?

Usually what I do is use Murphys Oil Soap spray it can be foudn at any grocery store and then I ususally go all out and take some butchers wax and give it a bit of "spit shine" I dab it on the wood and buff to a shine, it may take some elbow grease but it does a nice job.

Just use care not to mar or buff through the plastic vaneer that is applied on top of the wood pieces.

I apply the same carnauba (Malms) wax that I use on the paint. Just a little bit on a very small piece of cotton rag. The black birdseye maple is less prone to show fingerprints when waxed.

Zymol actually makes a wax, called Detail, that is supposed to work very well on wood. I've never actually used it, but will post with results when I do.
