chrome grille on ml55

chrome grille on ml55
i just bought an 01 ml55 about 2 months ago, it is a machine!
i just noticed that there are small "specs"of chrome removed from the grill !! any suggestions on repairing it or do i need to replace the crome strips or whole grill ? thanks

those removed 'specs' are most likely a chrome 'chips',similar to a paint chips.
You could 'rechrome' the whole grill,but I would buy a new one...It's faster and I think more cost effective
