How long to wait after a fresh paint job to wash and or wax?
I just got my lowers painted, and some work fixed on my door. How long should I wait before I wash the car. I have heard anything from don't wait, to 1 week, to a month. Also, how long should I wait until I wax the car, I heard anywhere from 1 month to 3 months (apparently the paint must cure or something, and it dries from the inside out, and if you wax, it won't cure properly and bubble or something, this is how it was explaned to me). Any input will be appreciated.

I dont know how true this is but I always heard after a new paint job the car can get wet, you just cant scrub for a month. I am sure wax would be about a month also.

Washing can happen right away as long as you are careful not to "scrub" the paint. Don't let water dry in the sun or you could get mineral deposits burned into the paint. However, you should wait 1-2 months for a wax depending on how warm it is outside. Cold paint takes longer to cure.
