2006 C230
I've messed up my wheels

I have a 2006 C230 and have been a little overzealous on the cleaning/waxing/polishing/"detailing" thing.

I have created a thin white film on my wheels. I have used Meguiar's Wheel cleaning stuff, then some fancy german stuff in a silver bottle, and then switched to some generic cleaner at walmart. Now I have this film, and am reluctant to just keep trying stuff in hopes that it gets better.

If someone will help me I promise to ease up on the wheel cleaning in the future and to stick with one wheel cleaner product.

Thanks

did you use an acidic non ph balanced cleaner and let it sit on there for a while or let it dry on the wheels? Take some pics.

I second what Azn C300 said. Take some pics if you can and let use know the names of the products.
