Help removing bug stains and road grime
Hi,
I am new to detailing but have been trying to come up to speed on it as fast as I can. I have been reading everything and washing as outlined in the sticky.
However one problem is bug stains, tar stains etc. I have noticed a small buildup of it on my paint. I wash with meguiars shampoo and that doesn't seem to really do the trick.
I read somewhere that simplegreen is a safe solution so I tried it very lightly and diluted but it didn't seem to help either. Is this true. Is it effective? How about on paint? wheels?
I just recently clayed my car for the first time and I noticed that it helped a lot but the clay got so dirty so fast (this was done after washing). Am I doing something wrong or do I have the dirtiest car in the world .
I am having so much trouble with just bug stains when will I hit the swirls.
AlBoston, I need your help. I keep seeing posts like your SL55 work. When will you be able to work on mine.
Thanks.
Prasith
