Windshield Cleaning
I used Windex on my windshield and wiped it with a clean soft terry (bath) towel. I noticed very small (miniscule) spots on my windscreen. It is very vicsible when the sun is shining on the windshield directly. Any suggestions or help. Should I be washing the winshield with water first and then using a glass cleaner? Any help certainly very appreciated.

If your car has some miles on it, and you drive on the highway at all, then the 'spots' are most likely very small chips in the windshield - caused by sand/dirt/debris that you strike while driving down the road (most likely kicked up by big trucks).
If this is the case, there's no way to get rid of them (other than replacing the windshield). Normally, the small chips are invisible when you are driving, as your focus is some distance in front of the car (hopefully) rather than at the windshield.
