OK,

Klasse AIO has been recommended re: baked specks of brake dust on chromies.

Where can I get some? The local AutoZone or wherever the other day didn't have any.

PS--Why can't MB use ceramic brake pads or something else that doesn't throw all that crap all over the wheels? Even Lexii have clean chromies

Mostly in the corners, since that is where it was hardest to clay

You know those old school "Boston" pencil sharpeners the classrooms used to have? When you opened it up to empty it, there were wood shavings and graphite dust, really really fine graphite dust all over?

Well, that's what this stuff looks like, 'cept it don't wipe off, and it hardly scrubs off either!

MBLN

These are the chrome versions of the stock E500 "Sport" wheels that were an option at Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel, in Orange County, CA!

wow, well i guess you could use a wheel cleaner on it, like P21S non acidic cleaner. Eimmann fabrik also makes a good one. But then there would be no point in zainoing them. I really dont know what to say, sorry joe .

edit, i just noticed that it seems to collect around all the edges. i only see these black specs on old old neglected rims. I'd have to say its poor quality chrome, but i dont know.

btw joe, check ur private messages.

Thanks Al

I'll try the tri-mesterly application of Klasse AOI followed up by Zaino to keep the evil dust at bay.

Anyone else with this problem at this extent?
