3 Day Old Car is Covered in Pollen
So my brand new, Black E550C is 3 days old and is covered in pollen. I am determined not to leave any swirls, scratches etc as the car's paint looked so good when I picked it up.
How can I remove this pollen given that the car already has a showroom wax. Can I just hose it off and then dry it with micro fiber? Or should I use Chamiois? I've even heard of people drying with a leaf blower.

I wouldn't take chances...wash the car using every precaution and dry by blotting the surface. If there are water marks, wipe gently with QD and a quality microfiber.

If its covered in pollen does that mean you dont have a garage?
Frankly without a garage you need to give up on keeping the car perfect...
What do you think a wax does? Just wash the car, its not like the wax comes off as soon as you wash it.

I feel your pain. Where I live, it seems like there's pollen covering both of our cars (dark paint) for a good 3 months every spring.
I had to let it go.......or make time to wash the cars every other day!

I would hose it down and leave it at that, as one member pointed out, if you are not going to garage it, That will happen again and again.
You are going to need to protect your paint from the sap that comes from leaves and trees.
Wax is not a good choice because most natural waxes are based on tree sap.
A popular type carnuaba comes from trees
This allows leaves, seeds and tree sap to leave impressions in the wax where it can sit and let the sap eat into and combine with the wax.
When this happens it leaves shadows in the wax that take what seems like forever to disappear
Try a synthetic, they normally are not affected by tree sap.
