MB Wax/Paint Protector

Hi:
I went to the local MB parts department and saw several products related to paint like wax, polish etc (I think those also specified in one of the booklet that comes with your MB user manual). They are made in Germany. I am wondering if those products are superior than regular wax/polish or other paint preservation products that you can get from PepBoys or any other local auto stores.

Thx

The MB stuff that was advertised in the inserts that came with my car is made by Meguires. Don't bother.

Look for Zaino or Zymol.

MB - Meguiars

Why... is "Zaino or Zymol" better than Meguiars?

Why/how so?

And what about those polishes/teflons/polyamers, etc. that don't allow the rain water to bead up and spot the finish?

This seems to makes sense; have you used them?

wrong forum. Again, check out the detailing forum on the forum list. Tons of people ask this same question and there are several detailed sticky instructional threads.
