detailing process - previous thread gone
My usual process is wash, polish, and wax.
I just bought some cleaner wax. What would be the process now? Is it wash, then cleaner wax (skipping the polishing process), or still wash, polish, cleaner wax?
Yes, you basically skip the polish process. The cleaner wax is basically a little bit of both a polish, and a wax. (lazy man's job) However, the cleaner wax is not as good of a protectant as car wax alone. Therefore, you may want to coat it with regular car wax for even more protection.
You're welcome!
wash the car using Alis sticky
then wax the car every so often as needed. every couple months
Dump the cleaner wax or return it. as it is pretty much useless
what kind do you have?
buy some Gold Class Clearcoat wax by Megs. or the #26 (i think) if you want that carnuba paste
hope this helps
btw if you wash and clay your cars every so often you dont need to worry about polishes too much
