Light scuff on rear bumper!

Light scuff on rear bumper!
Hey Guys, going on two weeks with my new C300, found a small scuff on the rear bumper, tried using Mothers wax which usually works but it did not, looks like I'll have to use compound, what in store compound would you recommend? And should use polishing compound, not rubbing compound, correct? Thanks!

It would be pretty pathetic if I took a pic, not really a big deal, it's just that the car is so new, I do not want to see the smallest mark this soon, just wanted a quick fix

C32 plus some other vehicles
For me most scuffs and light scratches go away totally with Meguiars Cleaner Wax - very mild abrasive and leaves a nice slick finish.
Best use of it ever was years ago when a lifted Toyota pickup changed lanes into the rear quarter of my Lincoln LSC, leaving a big dent and a fair amount of color on my paint. Went the next day for his insurance to appraise it, they cut me a check on the spot for $1,600 and within one hour afterward I had reached in the trunk and popped it out 100% then removed every last trace of the transferred paint using the Cleaner Wax. If I could have luck like that every day, I could retire
