How many of you guys who live in the winter/snow belt wash your cars...either weekly, when the weather is nice enough, car wash, etc.

I try to wash it when I can, but it's been tough here in MA. usually just spring for a touch-less car wash. Tho the S hasn't been washed in over a month...so nasty to look at :p

For me during the winter I never used to wash my car, mostly b/c I had a '93 Accord with 200k on it....But since I got the Benz, I wash during the winter ever 3 weeks or so if the weather is above 40 degrees

I'll be washing my car this weekend. It's been a month since I last took it for a wash, and if this somewhat warm NE weather stays that way for the weekend, I'll throw on my last coat of wax for this winter season!

where do you wash it? indoors?

Yesterday wasn't too bad for temps. I'm waiting for the rain to pass this weekend. Suppose to be nice next week....if so, breaking out the buckets

Best thing I ever did was run a hot water line into the garage.

Now I can wash once a week. Even then, the salt builds up into layers.

If its way below freezing in the garage, I fire up a small portable heater and when I am done washing, I use my leaf blower to blow the water out of all the little cracks so it doesn't freeze.

i took a few buckets to the local spray bay and a gasoline container full of water. Works out pretty well, but the rinse water from the spray bay isnt always clean, requiring a bucket rinse with the water i brought.

I wash my car about once a week, just because I cant stand brake dust!!!, (the benefits of being a detailer at a dealership) and I also do about 150 service washes a month on top of the complete details I do.
