Wheel cleaner

Just curious as to what everyone is using to easily clean their wheels? I have an 03 C230 and the brake dust is horrible and even more of a pain to get off, so if anyone can recommend some good products to clean the wheels and maybe a product to stop the brake dust from caking on so easily, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks
Ian

Several good products out there. Preferably use one that's Acid Free & PH balanced, i.e.

Adams has their own website, adamspolishes.com. You may want to also consider Amazon. As I recall it carries their products. I've had great luck with Adam's products.

Awesome, do you know of anything that will help keep the brake dust from clinging onto the wheels?

The only solution, in my opinion, is ceramic pads.

Thanks guys! I do need new rotors up front and am going to go with R1 concepts drilled and slotted with some performance ceramic pads, I'm tired of all the dust!

the ceramic pads would help reduce brake dust.

wheel cleaner
Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner
Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus
Nanolex Rim Cleaner and Iron Remover

once you clean up your wheels consider putting a wheel coating on them.

Opti Coat Gloss Coat
Gyeon Rim

03C230. I have put ceramic pads on all my cars for nearly 15 years. My experience is they eliminate carbon black dust completely--NOT "help" as Detailer's Domain says. The reason these pads eliminate dust is because they are made from ceramic materials, not carbon-based.
Many M-B owners go to ceramic pads.
With no carbon dust, you will then not need the expensive carbon/iron removal products Detailer's Domain is listing in his comments.
You need to know that.
I have hyper silver wheels on my E550. No black carbon at all. None.
Hope this helps.

I have a bunch of Griots stuff at my parents, but didn't have the time to go get it. I had an Amazon gift card and bought some of the Adams, now I'm buying all their products and they are some of the best I've ever used.

Griots is good but VERY pricey.

these products are so good for wheels care

There are many specific products to clean your wheels. I tried Ma-Fra products and they work perfectly.
Especially this one!!
They are leaders in Italy and their products are very good. If you want, you can try it.
