I'm taking delivery of my E500 this week. Question on waxing...
What should I do as far as waxing on a brand new car? How long should I wait? I assume that the paint is still pretty soft and don't want to F it up. I'm sure the dealers only use a quick detailer or something because the beads never last that long. I have One Grand Blitz carnuba wax and PS21 GEPC in my cabinet.
Any help is appreciated. Any thing I should watch out for with washing as well??

Obviously you don't need a polish or wax with a cleaner since the car is brand new, just use a pure wax and apply a couple of coats. The dealer does uae a wax via hand or orbital buffer prior to delivery. Use eagle one wax as u dry after every wash to keep the wax at 100%. Check the washing sticky for help in that area. Nano paint is baked on at like 450 dgrs, the paint is very hard.

Don't worry about the paint. Like RJC said, the factory baking process leaves it very hard.
You may want to use a claybar on the car before you wax it. This will remove any paint contamination (rail dust and other industrial pollutants) that the car picked up while being shipped to you.
Also, washing the car with Dawn dishwashing detergent (the original blue unscented stuff) will remove any wax that the dealer put on the car, and make it easier for you to apply your own stuff.
