Paint stripper for MB plastic bumpers?
I recently removed a vinyl wrap from the front end of an SL I purchased last November. Not a pleasant experience removing all the adhesive, but that's a story for another thread.
My main problem now is that in pulling the vinyl wrap off the front bumper patches of paint came off on the lower portions of the bumper. It was obvious that someone had done a poor job of painting over some curb rash. I would like to remove all the paint from the lower part of the bumper on both sides and then repaint. Even though I suspect that more of the repaint job will come off fairly easily it probably won't remove it all.
Sanding is one option to remove all the paint, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a paint stripper that's safe to use on the plastic that MB uses for its bumpers?
