I noticed a small leak by the plastic lines that connect the fuel filter & injection pump etc. I replaced all the lines/"O" rings $55 . Still leaks. Seems to be at the injection pump right under the shutoff actuator. (a small black plastic box about 3" long on the top side of the injection pump it has a 1" diameter electric plug & 2 of the plastic lines connect on the top & 1 on the bottom) My questions is how do I remove this shut off actuator? can it be repaired, new seals or do I need to buy a new one? Any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated!!

Hi - Not sure I can help with removal of the box. I have not done that one yet. I have, however, had multiple fuel leaks over the last 7 years. Most have been from the hoses and fittings in that area. I did have my injection pump rebuilt a few years ago . Had some leaks in that area as well. My independent finally got my leaks in check in the area you are describing (knock on wood for now). Best of luck (BTW I have a 96 E300D).

I have had almost everything fixed or rebuilt on this one!
