Wow, seems like MB has alot of diesel fans that stick around for a long time! Most of you have enjoyed your diesels for decades along MBz hands-and know/have had previous models and current ones! Seems like the true fans of MB are the diesel fans!

I love the 300CDs, the first one I had was a '79, gave it to my son when graduated from school - then I bought the '84, it's silver/blue metallic with navy leather and '93 8-hole alloys - don't drive it as much as the '79, it's just turned over 200,000 miles - the '79 had 425,000 miles on it when my son donated it to the Houston Can Academy, it still ran fine.
