81 300sd, 98 300td
glow plug light flickering off and on.
I did a seach and couldn't find anything. Car starts and runs fine, but on acceleration from a stop the glow plug light flickers and comes on and off, then once you are up to speed it stays off. What do you think it is? It is a 96 e300 diesel. 87000 miles. I am the third owner and just picked it up three weeks ago, so I don't know the maintenance history.

Can't get my ESP light to stop flickering on acceleration
My ESP light always flickers on acceleration unless I barely touch the accelerator pedal.
