Advise pls on using an engine cleaning treatment
My Merc E300TD 1997 has 120,000 miles, (its had a very very easy life).
I'm booking car in for a Tranny & rear diff service.
I'm on a bit of a proactive maintanence buzz.
Thier a number of companies out thier that offer products to clean...
Dirty or Clogged Fuel Injectors, Fuel System, Carbon on the Engine Intake Components, Deposits on the Oxygen Sensor, Clogged Catalytic Converter ect.
Does anyone have advise on whether these are worth using?
Product example:- BG 44K

I have used Lubro Moly Diesel Purge in the past. Based on other forums that I have lurked on... It seems this stuff is the way to go...
If you do a Google search, you will find lots of information on where to order it and how to use it...
