E320 CDi mod

At the same time a ECU remap will be done, at first only with DPF turned off and some limiters rised up, just for start.
After some other intended engine MOD's, more power will come

Here is what is going in the place of the DPF:

Where did you get that from as it doesn't look fabricated?
How is your wife's w203? I am still looking for a intercooler like the one you have on the w203 but i can't find one. :-(

The intercooler you can get many universal ones from ebay...
Is there any way to turn off EGR without doing to full re-flash right now or setting off a warning light on the dash?
I want to do several mods in a specific order and watch data streams and egt and see what difference each change makes.
BTW, the generic eBay intercooler thought is interesting, I had no idea how cheap and plentiful intercoolers were now, this is the first turbo car I have modified in a decade and a half...added to wish list.
God, it has only been 4 days without my little CDI since the GF's BMW broke again...it feels like torture to drive my NSX now...how life changes you and old age creeps up from behind!

I looked at some intercoolers on the web but i am not sure what would be the biggest size that fits. And how to mount the tubes for an OEM look.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

The w211 is different but I think there should be a version without DPF, so there must be a pipe also.
I could look for it but I can make a mistake. If you want it its better to ask for it in you MB dealer. Let them choose

Secondly, are you located in the USA df8s? If so, who did you use to re-chip your computer?
my car has not been chipped yet, i am trying to get as many hp as i can before the ecu tuning, i want to tune the exhaust for better performance, and i am sure after the ecu tuning will be much better,
i should have taken some photos of the work i did to the empty cat,
directly under the inlet pipe in the cat i have welded a flat plate with a ridge in order to create back pressure yet free outing the turbo must have liked the signal from the plate creating an obstacle the power as increased by a lot, i have owned this car for two years now and i know the power, not only revs freely to over 4500 but its also very responsive from 1500 and up, before dint start pulling hard until 2200 and stopped pulling at around 3800, with some leg, i whent to a flat road last knight and tried runs 0to 100 i was getting a reading around 6.3 to 6.6, i think thats pretty good for not chipping it, this cat work is unbeliavable, i thing i have found something here.
I had my CDI ECU remapped over in Fort Worth by a Upsolute dealer , I had run their program in a VW TDI for seven years with no problems.
But the program leaves the EGR alone and the top end is still 130mph in the CDI, but I have 34 hp and 51 ft lbs tq more now.
I have found a person in the DFW area that has a person that is remapping his TDI to run a intake and turbo that he is selling.
He is pushing around 260 hp out of his 1.9L 4cly, he told that the guy that programs the ECU for him can program any mods in.
I was at a TDI get together when I talked to him. I think I almost talked him into getting his wife a CDI.
I will find his business card with his web site and post it.
His web site is driverfire.com but it under construction so I called him one programer is on the west coast and sends him his own programs and he uploads them himself so I don't know how that will work. He did not get his wife ths CDI she got a new TDI.
He is going to call and let me know what can be done as far as the top end limiter and the EGR.
I take mine out on a track every once in a while and it would be nice to have a car that was at least as fast as my old TDI was.

I will be looking into the Inmotion web site.
I did not know about the transmission needing to be reprogramed but it makes sense.
Thank You for the Info !
