Service Reminder Reset on V-6 diesels
I am just curious. I remember reading that the V-6 diesel owners could not reset their service reminders ect without the dealers help via STAR. I do not know if this is true or not. I currently have an 2005 straight 6 CDI and change my own oil. It is easy to reset the service reminders on these. Can anyone clarify this for me? I am considering buying an 09 GL320.

2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD
I have an 08 grand Cherokee CRD and have no issues with resetting my service light on my own.

On my W204 C Class I can reset the reminder before it is due but have to go to the MB workshop after it is due to have it reset. I make sure I do it before now.
