Oil coming out exhaust pipe.

I have a 79 240d that I've been running for about a year. I've run b100 in it during the warmer months, but currently run straight pump diesel. I've upgraded all the fuel lines to Viton and have replaced the old style glowplugs with new rod types. It starts up fine, but I notice that after letting it sit to warm up there is a black spatter area on the concrete under the exhaust pipe. I assume that this is engine oil leaking in somewhere, but I'm not sure what to do first to remedy the problem.

It may be just moisture you see dripping out of the exhaust until the engine is warmed up. Once the car is hot, see if anything is coming out of the exhaust. If it was oil, you would see it (lots of blue smoke) while accelerating.
Just my $.02

Yeah, on a diesel, pretty much ANY liquid that escapes is going to be black.

B100 is not a problem at all on non-cdi engines.

Condensation during the colder temps is coming out and carrying soot from the tailpipe with it, nothing to be concerned about..

Its arrogance to assume anything.

Remove the exhaust manifold and inspect for "wet ports" to determine if there is a failed valve stem seal or failed piston ring.
