Hey, I was coming across more and more problems with starting up Diesel engines. I’ve heard that something may be wrong with too low pressure in common rail. So I decided to get a decent common rail injection analyzer for my garage. After searching web I discovered http://auto-testers.com/ The prices are encouraging but what about quality? I’m especially interested in edia-5 – do you have any experience with this device? Thanks for any help.

Try some of phone/tablet application ...I am using Torque for some quick diag (the second option is Star Diag)

The above application could measure common rail pressure ..

You cannot be wrong with spending $30 ...

I have regular tester and I am using it mostly for my wife Volvo .

As for your problem, check glow-plugs as well

Thank you I haven't heard about the phone application, maybe I should try it. Glow-plugs are usually fine that's why I thought about too low pressure in the common rail.
