Emptying the DPF will create an expansion chamber that will cause high exhaust backpressure. It will also cause differential pressure readings too low in the pressure sensors. Both of which will reduce engine power.

Unplugging the EGR and/or MAF will cause the engine to go into limp mode.

I have been running with an empty dpf and egr delete for several thousand miles with zero problems. This is my wife's vehicle so if it was a problem I would probably be history. Its all in the ECM tuning. I even get about a 2.5 mpg gain in city driving. The best thing to do for a diesel engine is remove the dpf and egr those are the two worst things for engine longevity.

I can get that too, without stuffing up the rest of the system. All I have to do is drive so I am a PITA to all other motorists.
