Posted on UK Motor site that is usually very accurate in reporting – Not sure what , if any, impact on Australian vehicles ?
Time will tell.
Thought I was safe moving from a diesel with VW, !!!
Still love my GLC Diesel.
Maybe this is why no diesel approval in USA for GLC ??

There is no impact outside of Europe at this time.

It is voluntary software update that applies to European versions.
From my comparison US-sold diesels are always derated and I assume that is to make sure they will be safe with emissions.
Kind of fun to read that European 4-cylinder diesels can exceed 250 hp, but emissions can kick back.

I just think its strange that I can not find anything on the internets about people having had their cars recalled. I have had my car at the dealship a couple of times (in Norway) in the last weeks and when I ask about the recall they say they have not heard anything about it.
