R320 CDI turbo advice needed
Can anyone tell me where to source a new turbo or rebuild kit using a cartridge? I've found a few options on Ebay but I'm not confident about using them--CHRA or cartridge, some are rebuilt, but none of them are Garrett originals at it seems the company does not sell parts or cartridges. Any one have experience rebuilding or fixing their turbos?
The story:
My R320 is leaking exhaust gasses and it's permeating the cabin unless I keep 'recirculate' button ON. After oil cooler seal replacement, and two more trips to shop to replace injector seals, it's still smelling inside, although each time, a bit different. Well, this time it there's exhaust gasses escaping from turbo housing where the actuator lever goes in. I sprayed it with soapy water to confirm. There's also soot in the area.
