Got my 2008 E320 Bluetec back on Friday. Ran great for two (2) days but this morning when started it nailed and knocked and cut out if I tried to rev up the engine. Once warmed up it’s fine. No CEL and the preglow light went out in a couple of seconds but I’m wondering if it’s a glow plug problem NOT an injector problem.
Anyhoo, l scanned it for codes and the only one that popped up was “903C knowledge configuration incomplete. Stored and current”. Is this a scanner problem or a car problem? I can’t erase the code whichever it is.
Also when scanning... there are a bunch of choices under W211 diesel but none fit exactly what I have. There is E320 CDI and E300 Bluetec. Which is the correct choice?

What scanner? I just bought MBII and have the same problem with my models not listed in the menu.
US 320 BT is 3l engine, so this is what I would put.
Entering MY points the scanner to connect right software with ECM, so if you choose wrong model, you will get notifications of unknown module or something in this line.
903 might be one of those errors. Can you read live-data?
