I spend $59 on Liqui-Moly DPF cleaner + purge and it did nothing on my E250.
Than I send the DPF to professional shop, who does ultrasound cleaning for $500 and they found DPF having mechanical damage inside.
I have rare DPF and just placed the order to find out that nobody in USA is having them.
Will have to wait about 2 months for it to arrive.
That said, I watch some video about LM purge and Sprinter owners used them with good results.
Might be just my bad luck.
Called local SA and he told me that DPF are wearable with 90k miles recommended intervals. Could not verify that info.

How many miles did you already have when you tried the Liqui-Moly? Did you already have an engine code about the DPF?

The car has 183k miles now and I have record showing new DPF at 120k.
The whole thing becomes big mystery. The part number from the record is different than the DPF I have in the car.
The original part number is not recognized anywhere and I did check whole World on the internet.
Than I finally bite the bullet and order new DPF per VIN.
They are giving me 2 months wait time as they have to custom-make it. Car sits on the rack with no exhaust.
WTF ?

120k miles for a first DPF seems to be pretty good from what I've gleaned off this site. Wonder if you were doing anything wrong/differently from the original owner...?
