Ok you will need
BMW 335 D injectors ....
You will need a Fuel Pump from a ML400 CDI V8 it bolts in with minor work
You need a Tune obviously .... a Turbo upgrade from DarkSideDevelopment
Intercooler and finally Blue top solenoids in your Transmission cause yours is stock and shifts like a grandma car

Do not do any cheap BS like spoofing fuel pressure regulator into allowing 30,000 psi injection pressure. I’ve had my current version of GDE in for over 100,000 miles, actually been running a reflash since about 90k miles, maybe 80k. EGR has been gone since then and totally removed along with a host of other mods for last 80-90k miles. $695 is a good enough deal for me, I charge folks a lot more than that for some of the dyno work I do for a living. If you peruse the performance related threads mine is the black W211 with no cat, hand build turbo back exhaust, and side pipes exiting rear bumper, just to be unique I guess. I’m also running a slightly larger intercooler, OM648 truck manifold with no swirl valves etc. GDE is just a OBDII flash tool and a full power map which if car is suitable modified makes zero detectable smoke, gets amazing actual fuel economy and makes a ton of torque. This winter while the car is down for a major service it will be apart again and I’ll take some more pics. Thinking of upping compressor wheel size and bit more intercooler.
The GDE flash is a very good starting point for basic mods, I’ve seen no drawbacks unlike friends who have gone for power by running MUCH higher injection pressures. My GDE flash file is limited to 23,650 psi max at rail. This is only 650 psi more pressure than stock.

I got a Carlsson Ctronic Box used for $300 they go for about that or 500 and do the same thing everyone else does .... BUT they do not activate until the car warms up varying boost pressure ... Ebay..
PS do the Blue Top Transmission solenoids ....... Makes that thing shift like it should hard and fast

Im hoping that the stock injectors will support what im looking for. im fitting a larger compressor wheel and the AMG turbine. making into a hybrid turbo, didnt fancy spending £1400 on a new darkside developments one lol. bigger intercooler and obviously a remap. which im going to ray jones at Thruxton for as he has done many many W211's!
All in all im thinking she will make 300 HP on the Dyno, which for a road car which never goes on the track (it is a e-class for god sakes) should be PLENTY of power!!!
Thanks for your input, i didnt know the BMW inectors would be compatible, thats a thought for the future for sure!!!
i think i would just get the E500 AMG if i wanted any more power

Anyone have any experience with:
RaceChip
RaceIQ
RocketChips
DudmdTuning
These are the only tuners I have been able to find for my CDI.
I would like to get something soon but not sure which to pick.

you can also check Malone tuning out too. I used them to tune my TDI and was pretty happy. They have a tune for the CDI. I ended up having Marcin Hoski tune my CDI. He’s the guy from the legit street cars CDI videos. Extremely happy with the results and he was a lot cheaper than any of the other tuners I found. You can get a hold of Marcin on FB and IG.
Malone seems to do great work on TDIs, but I would wait until they spend more time developing their CDI tunes before using them as there is definitely some room for improvement.
I can elaborate more via PM as I don't want to turn this into a "bashing" or similar unless they they are also posting as that would prevent it from being 1 sided.

You need to look further afield. Look to Europe as Diesel is the thing over here and there are so so many great diesel tuners available. I cant see why anyone would use any US tuner who through no fault of their own have little experience tuning diesels.
