A200 CDI AMG SPORT AUTO
Exhaust A200CDI AMG W176
Can anybody help me out... I had a bmw 3 series 2.0 diesel with a muffler delete which sounded lovely. I have had my a class a few months and am slightly bored with no engine noise. It is the 2.1 diesel A200CDI AMG 2015. Would a res delete or backbox delete increase the sound like the BMW? Imo it wasnt chavvy just deeper and throatier on acceletation with little drone. Or is there anything else I can do without removing DPF or straightpipe to get a decent sound?

So don't expect specific answer to your question.
My general conclusion is to be very careful with modern exhausts with build-in emission systems. If you have DEF, deleting the muffler will cut the treatment with hard to predict consequences, beside being law violation.
