Fuel Shutoff Valve Removal
Looks like i will replacing the oring /shutoff valve it's weeping some fuel.
How do you disconnect the electrical connection is it a clip/lock or do you pull it off.

I would assume the question apply to 1999 E300DT ?
SOV is hold by 2 bolts with torx (from my memory) bolts. Use your phone camera, to take a picture as you will not see the bolts with the angle. Loosen the bolt on coolant reservoir and push it aside for better access.
The tubings clip with white things that look close to "8".
Don't remember if you have to push it, or pull, but that should be obvious when you look at them.
I would strongly advise to get set of new tubings for the job and than you will have good look at the clips. Don't forget new oring on SOV outlet.
Also good idea is to do the job on low tank, to avoid fuel spills and after the job is done - top of the tank with cans so the tank pressure will bleed the air from new tubings.

Yes it is the e300td i understand the removal process of the sov
i am more wondering how you remove the electrical connector
that attaches to it.

Done that about 10 years ago, so don't remember that detail, but unlocking MB electrical plugs can be quite a task, what I experienced replacing OM642 engine.
