ErikC VS Bosch injectors
Anyone have experience with these ErikC Chinese injectors? I'm guessing I get what I pay for and to stick with some rebuilt Bosch injectors for my 2006 E320 CDI. Just curious.

Not too many US owners play with injectors, while in Europe they don't use Chinese parts.
But only wearable on injectors are tips and on benzworld Ross made nice topic how to replace them on those engines.
So far no source of tips for newer engines.

For the record, tips are not the only wear part on a diesel injector. Internal seals, ball and seat, plus other components can wear and fail. Thanks for the info on the other MB forum. I'll have a look.

Personally after my personal experience with OEM Ford remanufactured injectors, id stick to new and European if an option. Doing that job once beats twice on a Ford 6.0, trust me.

Isn't Ford 6l having injectors with build-in pump that uses engine oil at high pressure to power them? Completely different animal.
I will not even go into fact, that US rebuild shops have very shoddy reputation. 90% of rebuild alternators fail in short time.
Set of new injectors for 10 yo MB might cost more than car value, while tips are very affordable and proved to work.

Yes the Ford injectors are indeed different animals and I agree that Benz injectors likely are worth more than my car lol. I want to drive it to failure, or until I get nailed in Austin traffic at least.
