I think I bought the wrong fuel injectors for my '09 gl320 bluetec
Hey guys, the dealer told me I needed two fuel injectors but wanted to charge me like $700ea for OEM. So... I looked on the interweb and found found somewhere that Bosch is the supplier for them, so I picked them up for under $400 each, but when they arrived today, I did one last google check on the part numbers and I got hits for a different MB engine.
Spent another hour or two searching around and found several "legit" places selling the ones I bought saying they are for my vehicle and several selling the other ones. Hurst don't know, and the dealer says they won't bother looking into it since they are not OEM.
The ones I bought are Bosch part number 0445115059, and the other sites say it's Bosch 0445115063.
Some sites say it's MB part number 6420701487, and others say 1387.
If there's anyone that knows a definitive way of looking this up, I would GREATLY appreciate any help. I was just reading on here another post that said MB changed the injector model on the 2014 gl350, which I'm pretty sure is a completely different engine than my OM642, but if they did the same on mine, then MAYBE both fit??? IDK, I'm just stressing out.
Again, ANY help would be most appreciated!
Thanks,
Mike

All reputable parts sellers are using MB EPC, so you start with entering your VIN. I like https://www.mbdirectparts.com/ but there is more.
If for some reason catalog is not coming with number, you can always call them.

I bought them from Ebay, as they had the lowest price on the model# I was looking for.
