OM642 High pressure fuel pump installation

Also is not clear how to adjust position of drive gear relative to high pressure pump in step 20.
I had leak on camshaft plug, so I removed the pump, but now I have problem to install the pump because the manual is not clear and I don't want to damage the engine with stupid mistake.
Attached is WIS document

I still would follow WIS as there might be different factors in assemble.
#20 tells to position teeth vertically.

I would use a soft plastic rod to test for piston movement. Wood is OK, too. When the rod moves up the piston is coming up. You want to stop when the TDC mark on the crankshaft aligns with the timing pointer. The rod will stop moving, and if you go past it will start back down. Going back and forth a little (10 degrees or so) is OK, but you want to align the marks while turning the crank in the normal (CW) direction. Otherwise, always turn it in the normal direction, ClockWise.
