ML350 diesel 2011 blutek
Lady of the house pumped reg fuel into a diesel

What a poo show. Towed 100 miles. Extracted bad fuel. Vehicle drives again. Now have a particulate filter alarm. Whats a guy to do to get this remedied.

Get a scanner who can force regeneration.
If that doesn't help, you will need to remove DPF and send it to local shop who does the cleaning.

Liqui Moly DPF cleaner works well and not expensive. I would try that first.

How does a city boy like me remove that filter with your average garage tools
I found this place online that cleans said filter for 24 hrs. I’m willing to get it done right

You inject the fluid through the PDF sensor plug hole. It will smoke like a crop duster. You don't have a location listed for folks to recommend local shops.

Before you consider Liqui Moly DPF cleaner check the below:
-price of LM cleaner injector
-application manual that calls for using cleaner with purge, so you have to buy 2 bottles and they are not exactly cheap
-location of your DPF. Most US models have DPF stuffed between engine and firewall.
Not exactly easy place to remove sensor and stick the probe.
Once again, start with forced regeneration.

I will attempt forced regen. Only discovered what that is yesterday. Thks

It is not an easy place to get to for sure. I had 59 or 61 failed regen codes and cleaned it up with Liqui Moly. Sure beats the price of a new DPF.
