E250 Bluetec: Terminate EGR, DPF, and SCR systems
I read all the posts on this thread here: https://mbworld.org/forums/glk-class-x204/697383-finally-got-done-glk250-dpf-scr-deleted-egr-disabled-3.html
I'm hopeful that the kit designed for the GLK 250 will be compatible with my E-Class sedan. It seems like GLK 250 kits (RawTek/Malone or Buzzken/JR) are my best options.
I investigated this last year due to some problems with the DEF system that strangely disappeared with time and following strict DEF top-off routines. At that time I did not see a compatible solution for my vehicle
Today, my fortune is not so good. The crude diagnostics I have available indicate the DPF is clogged and likely one (or more) exhaust sensor malfunctions. The vehicle is currently in limp home mode.
Anyone have any advice on preparations for the modification and the maintenance routines that one should follow after the modification?
I appreciate any information you all have on your experience having completed the modification. But, I do prefer to see a response from a fellow E250 Bluetec owner whocompleted the modification and tune.
