06 211 E320 Fuel filter change interval.
Hey guys,
06 E320.
Recommendations on how often the fuel filter should be changed? Is it 13k in conjunction with the oil change or 30k?

Depends how clean fuel you use.
My son sold ML320 at 130k miles and still on factory fuel filter.
Using gas cans brings higher risk of dirt coming into system, but if you fill at gas station only, I would not hesitate double factory recommendations.
Diesels have fuel filter mounted on top of the engine, so I simply carry spare one and tools to change it on the road.
In all those years had to do it on side of the road only once, when my Ford F450 start to hesitate going uphill and filter was at 90k. Ford recommendation was 30k, but with work truck I run it in dust and lot of gas cans not to mention that in heavy used truck, 90k miles took close to 10,000 gallons of fuel
