Bucking on 2014 GL350 642.8xx
Hey all,
Looking for some help here with an issue. My GL350 has a bucking issue as well as some hesitation especially when it is cold. I have taken apart my intake manifold and cleaned it as well as all the egr components including the valve. Replaced the Air Mass sensor six months ago and the bucking started shortly after. Wondering what my next course of diagnostics will be for this. Any help is appreciated. Also had codes P0299 turbo underboost as well as P2459 for regen frequency. Cleared the codes after I put the intake back together and they haven’t come back yet.

Hello, i am also having the same issue. I have no codes. I have heard that it is possible to do a relearn on the mass air. Even thought you have replaced it and cleared the codes.
It could be the computer doesn’t know the proper upper and lower limits of the range. This done by the dealer, or if you have a good scanner.

2014 GL350
Hey didn’t update after I fixed it, basically tore apart the entire egr system. Brought the cooler to a local shop to hit it with “ultrasonic bath” and manually cleaned all the other pipes, egr valve and the change over valve, also cleaned the flaps on the intake manifold and if I took that apart again I would upgrade the rails for the flaps. As an added step I put liqui moly diesel purge in the fuel filter as I changed that as well. With all this the bucking issue is gone and hasn’t come back as well it is more responsive.
