2014 GL350 PCV Replacement

Hi Guys,

Recently during air filter change I noticed oil leaking from the turbo inlet. I replaced the seal on the turbo inlet but haven’t been able to get an answer on whether it’s normal for oil to be present on the turbo inlet or there is a problem with the PCV. Speaking to service advisor at local dealership he said it’s normal in diesel for some oil to flow through the turbo. If some oil is normal, is there a way to know what’s normal? What are the signs that PCV needs to be replaced? Saw a YT video that suggested that PCV should be changed as preventive maintenance. If so, at what mileage it is recommended to do it. My GL has 72k KM on it.
Thanks!

I have the same issue. Don’t see that anybody responded. Did you find out how much oil to be concerned about? My air filter inlets are also penetrated with oil.
