Hello all! I just purchased this car and drove it 3 hours home. After the drive I looked over the engine compartment and noticed there appears to be some diesel fuel seeping out from the bottom of the injection pump. The delivery valve seals were replaced by the prior owner and the top of the IP is completely dry. Is there something on the bottom that could be causing this? If so, is it an easy fix? Any help would be much appreciated. I am attaching a picture to illustrate this. I circled in yellow the areas that have the most fuel, and on the engine block where it's running down.

My first guess would be that you have oil leak under primary fuel pump, but nothing shows as very active, so I would clean the area and wrap it with paper towels to pinpoint the leak.

That is a good observation and suggestion, thank you. I wiped it down and drove around yesterday. If there is a leak at all, it is very very slow. I will keep my eye on it.
