Blue tech Canada “deficient” info am I SOL?
Have a glk 250 that was under the class action suit against MB bluetec.
I submitted successfully in first week April. Have receipt to that effect. Deadline was 01-May-2023.
Roll on 4 months radio silence. I receive a letter in the mail, dated 27th June with response date for “missing info” (proof of ownership) 16th July. I didn’t receive the letter till the 20th July or so. Posted from BC to ON.
Further more, as part of submission I had to provide my email and phone number. Neither of which was used to notify me of any submission issue. Options for proof of ownership inc insurance docs, bill of sale, registration at time of purchase. I elected for insurance doc as it was handy at the time.
I resent the information since receiving the letter via email. This time with bill of sale and registration.
No response over a week later. The helpline is a recording. I can’t find a way to get in touch with someone. The website states:
just drained by this. Jumped through the hoops. Provided the right info. Fact remains I was and am the owner. But with zero time to reply it feels like I’m SOL. Do they not have an obligation to contact me sooner. Or give more time to reply.
